Volume Management using LVM: An Overview

In the first part we present an overview of basic LVM procedures like snapshots for backups or storage partition extension. The second part of the presentation discusses recent extensions such as thin provisioning and mentions some of the problems we are currently tackling to improve storage efficiency and scalability.
