Booting
Turn on the power -- and then what? The booting process appears to be trivial on the surface, but therein lie many challenges. For example, how does one start computers that are not within reach of the user that should have started using automation? How can boot times be reduced? How can un authorized access be prevented? This track answers such questions regarding boot technologies ranging from iPXE to UEFI and its challenger Coreboot.
